 Marriage in an Islamic context may be considered a right of worship enabling men to effectively submit his will to the Creator. Consequently the last Prophet of Allaah was reported to have said, “When a servant of Allah marries, he is completing half of his religion or half of his religious obligations, and he must then fear Allah in order to complete the second half.”
